Weather Synopsis for Monday & Thursday
Little change is expected today as an upper low rotating off of Vancouver Island slowly drops south along the Washington Coast. Mountain temperatures near or even below zero this morning will slowly moderate with early March sunshine.
Higher surface pressure over Eastern Washington and lower pressure on the west side of the Cascades will continue the light to moderate easterly winds, strongest in the usual locations like Crystal and the Cascade Passes south of Stevens.
After another cold and mostly clear night, the upper low will shift into southern B.C. on Tuesday. This should allow for some afternoon cumulus build up across the region as well as the slight chance of an afternoon mountain snow shower.
