Weather Synopsis for Tuesday & Saturday

The Pacific Northwest will be high and dry through the end of the week as high pressure offshore dominates our weather pattern.  A deep upper level low over Utah/Nevada combined with high pressure nosing into British Columbia today will keep our area in moderate NE flow aloft. Freezing levels will begin their climb today, but NE winds will help slow the warming trend despite sunny skies. Freezing levels will be lower down south near Mt. Hood closer to the upper level low.

Winds should decrease Wednesday afternoon as the upper level low weakens and stretches over the desert Southwest.
