Weather Synopsis for Wednesday & Tuesday

It will be another warm, dry and sunny day with strong upper level ridging over the Canadian Rockies and surface offshore flow. Besides the impressive warmth seen throughout the region, moderate easterly winds will continue for about Stevens Pass and south to Mt. Hood, with winds turning more southeasterly and approaching strong in the alpine. A weak upper low moving into northern California will bring some high clouds to Mt.Hood along with regionally lower freezing levels.

Weak upper level troughing moving into western Washington/Oregon on Thursday will allow some high clouds and moisture to work it's way up north and shut off the offshore flow. More sun than cloud is expected from about Stevens Pass to the Canadian border. Temperatures will still be mild but freezing levels will continue to slowly lower.
