Weather Synopsis for Sunday & Saturday
A dominant upper level ridge over the west coast has pushed the steady stream of warm moisture that plagued the PNW over the last few days well into British Columbia. High clouds should occasionally pass over the north and central Cascades today, with mostly sunny skies further south.
This has allowed very mild air to be pumped in the region... freezing levels will reside between 11 - 12 kft today through Monday morning. Some NWAC stations have already pushed into the 50s this morning.
Expect SW winds to be moderate in the alpine through the short term forecast, even strong over the North Cascades today.
Weak easterly flow may draw slightly cooler temps through the Cascade passes tomorrow along with areas of low clouds for Monday morning.

Extended Weather Synopsis for Saturday night through Saturday
A weak front will approach the coast Tuesday morning spreading light rain and snow over the area Tuesday and knocking snow levels down to 5000-6000 ft by the afternoon. This front is not expected to produce significant precipitation amounts.
Clouds and low level moisture should increase during the day Tuesday. Leftover showers and moisture will stick around through Wednesday morning with partial clearing likely during the afternoon. Upper level ridging will begin to build offshore on Thursday beginning a clearing and warming trend that should extend into next weekend.
