Weather Synopsis for Friday night through Saturday
The high-amplitude upper-level ridge offshore pushes slightly further into the region with temperatures aloft warming further tonight into tomorrow, giving us the warmest temperatures we've experienced since November over our mountains by late Saturday into Sunday. Weak systems are spilling over the top of the ridge into SE Alaska and are dropping south through the Rocky Mountains, leaving our region largely unimpacted. Low-level moisture is generally decreasing, so clouds should be mostly clearing out on Saturday. Low-level inversions and fog or freezing fog are likely in some locations. Sunday should be the warmest day with 11000-12000 ft freezing levels in many locations and mostly clear skies.

Extended Weather Synopsis for Saturday night through Saturday
A weather disturbance dropping south through Montana on Sunday will leave a cold high pressure over interior BC that will push the high-pressure westward slightly and knock back freezing levels over our region. On Sunday night, E flow will develop with cold air pushing SW into eastern Washington. The moderate gradient should remain through Monday night and weaken Tuesday. Expect generally fair weather with breezy conditions through the mountain gaps. No storms are in the forecast until the latter half of the week.
